My, my my.

BlizzCon weekend was awesome. And by awesome, I mean totally sweet. No doubt those of you who play WoW have already heard the good and the bad. I am not at all interested in playing a goblin, and am actually quite upset that the Alliance get to have fucking werewolves. Don't tell anybody but all my friends are making an all-worgen guild. We're not going to talk to anybody else, we just want to play werewolves.

Also, Deathwing. AM I RIGHT? God, this guy is fucking sexy. For a dragon. Evil dragon. Tank thing. Evil dragon tank.

Well hey

I'm working on a few things right now--namely, a trade for =andrea-koupal, a small poster worked in copic on bristol (that's here, and a coloring of lineart found on the diamond-in-the-rough-style *color-me-club (you can find that here).

I've been trying to liberate myself, in regards to what I draw and why. For way too long now I've been concerning myself with what I should be drawing instead of what I want to draw. Art has always been an escape for me, and it's not fair to turn that into something more like work.

So I guess I'm saying I don't want to be an artist for a living.

Which is cool because now I want to be a novelist, lol.

Today I picked up some frisket for masking, so I can use my [drumroll] COPIC MARKER AIRBRUSH SYSTEM. I have large bristol sheets and am uncomfortable laying down huge blocks of color using only a marker and my wits, so airbrush it is.

I've actually never used neither real-media masking nor airbrushes, so this is going to be kind of an adventure. If anyone has any tips, uh, feel free to share a
